Richard Mak is a web developer and writer living in Toronto, Canada. His affinity for computers naturally lead him into the world of web development which he has enjoyed doing for the past 12 years.

Recently, he has also rediscovered his love for writing having been a copywriter early on in his career. This love affair with writing inspired him to create his own blog and join the other great writers here at Suite101. Richard has a keen interest in a variety of subjects including technology, sports, health, finance, film, TV and relationships.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hitting the weights, reading anything written by Clive Cussler, volunteering for a good cause, seeing his favourite sports teams win and watching 'Star Wars' for the 20th time.

His motto is: 'Every now and then, bite off more than you can chew.' - Kobi Yamada
